Bateman Case Study Competition
In the spring of 2013, I was invited to compete on a team with four other faculty-selected
students in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)'s National Bateman Case Study Competition. We researched, designed, implemented, and evaluated our own real-world PR campaign named Bullies 2 Buddies. The theme of the competition was to design a campaign to combat bullying with school-aged students. We partnered with Stanton Middle School in Kent, Ohio to implement tactics from the campaign in seventh grade classrooms throughout the month of February 2013. The case book competed against close to 70 other PR students' campaigns from other universities throughout the country.
